First is Womad festival an eclectic mix of world music all genres all vibes, from blues to live dubstep. set in the grounds of charleton park its a beautiful setting to the best weekend of your summer. This is just one of those festivals you dont go for the lineup cos chances are your probably guna recodnise 3 names if your lucky, but the festival always delivers, introduces you to new beats an swings, its all about the discovery.

HIGHLIGHTS

Basically this guys crazy, meet SKA CUBANO - Cuban Ska that'll get you going. TEQUILLLLAAA

Yo next we saw some deep bassy live dubstep, JAZZSTEPPA these guys are decks + trumbone + drums epic atmousphereaa, an ye its as good as it sounds.

Sit back relax on the grassy mounds, bob to the reggae beats howlin from the mainstage.. you must of heard of HORACE ANDY no? one of marleys main influences, godfather of roots reggae and now collaborating with massive attack.

When the sun goes down the festivals got so many levels, by that i mean theres so many different things to suit your mood.. or drug ha. Saturday night we throbed an sweated one out to DJ KENTARO Japenese world scratch champion, he is a nutta. next night we had no energy for that sorta movement, we chilled on the grass, and got absorbed by blues and soul legend up above you GIL-SCOT HERON, this old guy made the festival for us.

The festival gets an amazing  funfair every year too, heres a 360 VIEW of the place, its better at night though, an iluminated trippy spin out.

Basically this festivals gotta be number one in my books, had some experiences ill never forget here, its £110 if your a student which on my budgets quite pricey but trust, its more than worth it, an hour west of bristol its more than central. this festivals got some much to give, find out for yourself x
